Looking for a Used Bending Machine?
Brand Story of Langbow
Langbow was set up in 1971 as a design and manufacturing centre for Tube Machinery. This included the world-famous Langbow TM series twin-head tube-bending machines, which were developed into fully automatic 6-axis CNC versions. Langbow also made tube notching machines, Tube End Forming machines and specially designed machinery to provide solutions to production requirements for tube manipulation around the world.
In the late 90s, it was apparent that manufacturing techniques had improved in the Far East to such an extent that we could look at importing machinery and offer a wider range to complement our existing equipment.
After much consideration and many air miles, it was clear that the best manufacturer in this part of the world was SOCO in Taiwan. We formed a relationship with SOCO in 1999, and this remains strong to this day.
Langbow is SOCO’s Official UK Distributor and has been solely responsible for the sale, commissioning, training and warranty work on in excess of 600 Machines currently in use in the UK.
Mandrel Bender Technology Explained
Mandrel tube bending is essential for complex shapes and thin-walled tubing. By inserting a mandrel inside the tube during bending, the tube retains its roundness, even under tight-radius conditions.
Benefits of mandrel bending:
Prevents wrinkling and ovality
Maintains precise shape on thin walls
Enables tighter bends with minimal distortion
Essential for exhaust pipes, hydraulic lines, and structural frameworks
Langbow’s mandrel benders combine this powerful technology with CNC automation for precision you can rely on.
